sports complex, banks, bars, restaurants plus a very popular Irish bar
with restaurant serving excellent food etc. The historic town is very
picturesque and the vast open country side is nearby with orange
groves stretching to the nearby hillside. The town is surrounded by
breath taking country side with views that stretch for miles and miles
and the nearby mountains are perfect for outdoor activities such as
cycling, walking, riding, off roading, climbing etc. There is a huge
fresh water lake just beyond the town at Beniarres which is popular
with local fishermen and is just a 15 min drive over the hillside on a

The main coastal
town of Gandia is approx. 20 kms / 25 min drive from Benicolet passing
through stunning country side overflowing with olive and orange
groves. Gandia provides all necessary amenities including large new
shopping centres and district hospital (new hospital currently under
construction) and also boasts a superb beach resort which is the No. 1
destination for Spanish tourism.

There are many coastal towns providing a variety of different sized
towns with sandy beaches and numerous sleepy seaside Spanish resorts.
