This is a one storey
country finca / villa which enjoys an exceptionally sunny location on
the edge of the large national park 'El Marjal'. Having 2 bedrooms and

'El Marjal' is a huge zone consisting of mainly fresh water marsh land, there are numerous free flowing rivers and rice fields, the area is a protected zone that houses an abundance of wildlife and fauna. El Marjal is an exceptionally peaceful area which is also very popular with locals for walking, cycling, horse riding and for fishing in one of the many fresh water rivers running through the marsh. The vast and evergreen marsh separates the Costa del Azahar from the Costa Blanca almost acting as a boundary keeping the mass tourism at bay. The beauty and tranquility of this area is now being appreciated by the locals and the area is being cleaned up and improved in a natural manner, and in no way being spoilt by any further building which is now prohibited here. Nearby approx. 5 mins walk is the 'Font Salad' a thermal lagoon which is very popular with the locals throughout the year as it offers medicinal powers when bathed in and has a constant temperature of 21º. Locals from neighbouring villages visit regularly to bathe and reap the benefits it is said to have. In the summer months it becomes very popular for swimming and is a very nice alternative to the beach. There is now a very good small typically Spanish bar / restaurant serving drinks and BBQ meals which is over looking the lagoon. Plus recently there opened a Casa Rural here which offers inexpensive accommodation and lovely meals are served in the restaurant. The busy market town of Oliva with all amenities including many shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, schools, health clinic, sports complex with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, weekly market selling locally grown produce at amazingly cheap prices etc. is just a five minute drive from the villa. The peaceful sandy unspoilt beach is a few minutes drive and boasts Club Nautico and Marina with large beach front swimming pool and a restaurant open to the general public serving the fresh catch of the day. The Oliva Nova Golf Complex with 18 hole course and driving range designed by Seve Ballesteros is a two minute drive from the property and boasts a beautiful virgin sand dune beach setting. The club house overlooks the course and is open to the general public, plus there is a popular restaurant with swimming pool and a luxury health spa. The wide sandy beaches are approx. 15 mins walk and go for absolutely miles, superb for walks on lazy hot summer days There is also a very good livery stable and riding school on the way to the beach owned and run by a local family. Here there are riding lessons, a variety of other riders of many nationalities not just Spanish to meet and to hack out with and an excellent bar / restaurant which often is the venue for functions and parties. Or if you feel like a weeks holiday for yourself then it is not expensive to leave your horse there whilst you are away and you can be sure they will be well taken care of. The property is quite basic and is maintained in good condition. The sun terraces and gardens are well looked after, however the 8m x 4m swimming pool could do with some attention from a builder to restore it to its original state. Electricity is supplied via solar panels and a generator, suitable for year round living, plus the property has its own free water supply.
