The playa also boasts many fine restaurants plus its own Club Nautico and Marina. Following the summer months the beaches become very quiet and are ideal for long walks in the sunshine, water sports such as wind surfing, water skiing, scuba diving, horse riding and walking dogs.

The town of Oliva is a few minutes drive south of the village and also provides many amenities not found in Miramar including a less spoilt sandy beach resort with sand dunes now protected from development ensuring the well-being of animal and bird life. There is also a small Club Nautico and Marina with superb bar / restaurant and beach front swimming pool. The Oliva Nova Golf Complex with 18 hole course designed by Seve Ballesteros is just a few kms south of the town and this also boasts a beautiful virgin sand dune beach setting, the club house overlooks the course and is open to the general public and there is a popular restaurant with swimming pools and health spa also located here.
