This is an absolutely superb, completely reformed apartment ideally located on the ground floor within a small block and boasting own front sun terrace and private entrance from the street. Enjoying a very quiet and sunny, central location within the small and tranquil beach resort of Miramar, the Playa of Miramar is a small resort in itself which has rapidly expanded over recent years and is just a mile from the town which is approx. a 15 - 20 min walk from the apartment. Boasting a wide, very long, sandy blue flag beach offering safe shallow waters for swimming, it is a very friendly and quiet resort throughout the year which comes alive over the summer months but never becomes overcrowded and is perfect for families. The beach provides many year round amenities all within moments stroll including small shops, local bakers, bars / good restaurants, chemist etc.  and the village of Miramar is just 1 mile from the beach and provides many more amenities including schools, banks, doctors, sports area, large supermarket, small shops, various good bar / restaurants to choose from and weekly street market selling locally grown produce etc. 

 

Facilities which can't be found in the village are available nearby in the main market town of Gandia with all amenities including large new shopping centres, hypermarkets, supermarkets, numerous bars, superb restaurants, banks, schools & colleges, general hospital (large new hospital currently under construction), sports complexes, weekly market etc. Gandia is just a five minute drive from Miramar and also boasts an award winning blue flag golden sandy beach (which is the no. 1 resort for Spanish tourism) many families from inland towns such as Madrid and Xativa own second homes here and they come for the summer months to escape the heat in the interior. The playa also boasts many fine restaurants plus its own Club Nautico and Marina. Following the summer months the beaches become very quiet and are ideal for long walks in the sunshine, water sports such as wind surfing, water skiing, scuba diving, horse riding and walking dogs.

 

The town of Oliva is a few minutes drive south of the village and also provides many amenities not found in Miramar including a less spoilt sandy beach resort with sand dunes now protected from development ensuring the well-being of animal and bird life. There is also a small Club Nautico and Marina with superb bar / restaurant and beach front swimming pool. The Oliva Nova Golf Complex with 18 hole course designed by Seve Ballesteros is just a few kms south of the town and this also boasts a beautiful virgin sand dune beach setting, the club house overlooks the course and is open to the general public and there is a popular restaurant with swimming pools and health spa also located here.
