This is an older apartment
very well established and ideally located on the first floor within a
small residential block. Enjoying a quiet and sunny, very central
location within the small yet bustling town of Bellreguard which adjoins
with the two towns of Palmera and Alqueria and is very close to the main
town of Gandia. The town provides many local amenities all of which are
within moments flat stroll of the property including supermarkets,
schools, banks, doctors, chemist, sports area, many small shops, park
and garden areas, bar / restaurants and a weekly street market selling
very cheap locally grown produce and hardware etc.
The Playa of Bellreguard is a small resort in itself which has rapidly
expanded over recent years and is just a couple of miles from the town.
Boasting a wide, very long, sandy blue flag beach offering safe shallow
waters for swimming, it is a very friendly and quiet resort throughout
the year which comes alive over the summer months but never becomes
overcrowded and is perfect for families. On the beach there are
also many amenities to be found including small shops, local bakers,
numerous bars & good restaurants, the beach of Bellreguard merges
with that of Miramar, also a blue flag beach with many amenities. It is
said that the beach of Bellreguard was the result of a card game many
many years ago and was given to the town when the Mayor of Miramar lost
to the Mayor of Bellreguard who consequently was given the beach as a
payment.
Facilities that can't be
found in the town are available in the next town which is the main
market town of Gandia and provides all amenities including large new
shopping centres, hypermarkets, supermarkets, numerous bars, superb
restaurants, banks, schools & colleges, general hospital, sports
complexes, weekly market etc. Gandia is just a 2 minute drive from
Bellreguard and also boasts an award winning blue flag golden sandy
beach (which is the no. 1 resort for Spanish tourism) many families from
inland towns such as Madrid and Xativa own second homes here and they
come for the summer months to escape the heat in the interior. The playa
also boasts many fine restaurants plus its own Club Nautico and Marina.
Following the summer months the beaches become very quiet and are ideal
for long walks in the sunshine, water sports such as wind surfing, water
skiing, scuba diving, horse riding and walking dogs.
The next largest town of
La Safor is Oliva which is a 5 minute drive south and also provides many
amenities not found in Bellreguard including the Oliva Nova Golf Complex
with 18 hole course designed by Seve Ballesteros. This also boasts a
beautiful virgin sand dune beach setting, the club house overlooks the
course and is open to the general public and there is a popular
restaurant with swimming pools and health spa also located there.
The apartment is
maintained in very good condition and is now 30 yrs old so a little
dated. Offering 110m2 of living accommodation the rooms are very
spacious, sunny and bright. It would be an ideal permanent home, holiday
home or rental accommodation to generate an income. Some of the
