This is an extremely lovely village house with a very peaceful end of road location within the sleepy village of Terrateig. This traditional house oozes and actually overflows with rustic charm and character throughout, there have been many recent improvements to the property including new roof and electrical wiring however the original character remains dominant with very heavy beamed ceilings, antique dark pine interior woodwork, windows with shutters and some Valencian floor tiling. There is still much room for improvement with the kitchen and bathroom, however the accommodation is very liveable as it is now. The house is literally on the edge of the village with the virgin country side immediately behind. Its end of road and edge of village location ensures complete peace and tranquility and there is parking available almost alongside the property on the street.

Terrateig is a 25 minute picturesque drive inland through stunning country side of orange and olive groves from the main market town of Gandia. Some local amenities including bakers, village shops, chemist, street market and community swimming pool are provided in this tranquil and sleepy village which houses a population of approx. 200 habitants.
The larger town of Castelo Rugat is a 5 min drive from the village of Terrateig and provides many more amenities including large supermarkets, many small shops, bars / restaurants, schools etc. or the main market town of Gandia provides all major facilities plus a blue flag Award Winning Beach resort with Club Nautico and Marina. Gandia playa is now very cosmopolitan and is the No. 1 beach destination for Spanish tourism. Here you can find an endless choice of excellent bars / restaurants, night-clubs, local shops, medieval markets etc. Many families from the inland towns such as Madrid own a second / holiday home here and flock to the coast in the summer months to escape the heat of the interior. The beach is very quiet and tranquil throughout most of the remaining months of the year, fantastic for long walks along the waters edge in the winter sunshine, horse riding, water sports, swimming year round etc. There are numerous blue flag beaches along this coastline all within easy reach of the property.

The Oliva Nova Golf Complex with 18 hole course and driving range designed by Seve Ballesteros also boasts a virgin sand dune beach setting and is a 30 minute drive from the house. Here there is a popular restaurant with swimming pool and club house over looking the course which is open to the general public.

This area is very popular with locals who live on the coast who like to come a very short way inland for weekends and holidays where the climate remains ideal, the country side and mountains are magnificent and the hustle and bustle of the coast is left behind them. The house is deceptively spacious and would make an ideal permanent home or holiday home. Maintained in very good condition throughout the accommodation comprises of:

Ground floor: Entrance into the lounge (with feature open fireplace) and dining room with built in display cupboards, hallway (with recess cupboard) to kitchen and shower room.
First floor: Landing / second snug lounge or spare bedroom 3, 2 double bedrooms and a good size store room.
