This is a really lovely
traditional style village house which boasts a quiet and convenient
location towards the edge
of the busy small town of Castelo de Rugat,
yet being just a couple of minutes flat walk to the town centre with
many amenities. Within the town you can find lots of small shops of all
varieties, supermarkets, weekly street market, doctors, health clinic,
schools, sports complex, banks, bars, restaurants plus a very popular
Irish bar with restaurant serving excellent food etc. Castelo de Rugat
is approx. 26 kms / 30 min drive inland from the main town of Gandia
passing through stunning country side overflowing with olive and orange
groves. The historic town is very picturesque and the vast open country
side is nearby with orange groves stretching to the nearby hillside. The
town is surrounded by breath taking country side with views that stretch
for miles and miles and the nearby mountains are perfect for outdoor

There is a huge fresh water lake nearby at Beniarres which is popular

very good but twisty road. Gandia is the main town
of La Safor and is on the coast with all amenities of a city plus an
award winning golden sandy beach (the no.1 resort for Spanish tourism)
with Club Nautico and Marina, here are many popular bars and restaurants
and discotecas for the younger generation. The beach area is very quiet
for most of the year therefore superb for long peaceful walks, horse
riding, various water sports or private sunbathing. The properties on

children have their school holidays in the summer months. During this

Ballesteros is also just a 30 minute drive. The complex enjoys a virgin
sand dune beach setting is very quiet and peaceful even in the height of
the summer months it never becomes overcrowded. Nearby are horse riding
centres, go carting, clay pigeon shooting and a huge fresh water marsh
land 'El Marjal' which is a sanctuary mainly for bird wildlife. The
Marjal is also very popular with local fishermen who come and fish on
one of the many free flowing fresh water rivers. Here one can also find
a large thermal lagoon which has year round water temperature of 21ºc
and is said to have medicinal properties which ensures year round
bathers with locals from surrounding towns.
