Large and
exceptionally sunny third floor apartment within a small block of 3
flats. Boasting what have to be some of the very best views to be
found in La Safor and still having the convenience of a central
location in town with many amenities just moments flat stroll. Located
on the edge of the small village of Ador which joins with the village
of Palma de Gandia, the amenities are just moments stroll and include
banks, bakers, butchers, small supermarkets, bar / restaurants, large
24 hr health and emergency clinic, sports complex with open air
swimming pool, schools etc. Between the two villages there are
many amenities to be found and certainly enough to provide for
everyday living needs. These two villages also remain very
traditionally Spanish and thrive with numerous fiestas throughout the
year, the celebrations seem doubled with the villages being adjoined,
there is normally something happening to be taking part in.
The main market town of
Gandia providing all facilities of a small city is a short 5 min drive
through the orange groves and boasts an Award Winning Beach resort
which is the no. 1 area for Spanish tourism. The Spanish from inland
towns such as Madrid flock to this resort in the summer months to
escape the heat of the interior. The playa also has its own Club
Nautico and Marina plus there are numerous bar / restaurants serving
traditional Valencian and some International dishes to choose from.
The Oliva Nova Golf
Complex with 18 hole course and driving range designed by Seve
Ballesteros is a 15 min drive from the property. Also boasting a beach
front location on natural sand dune beach and having a superb
restaurant, swimming pools and health spa.
In the opposite
direction from Ador and just a 2 minute drive is the larger town of
Villalonga where more amenities can be found. This is
a thriving,
happy small working town and provides all sorts of amenities including
large supermarket, many small shops, banks, large new health clinic,
numerous good schools, sports ground, swimming pools, weekly street
market selling locally grown produce, popular bar / restaurants
etc. It is located at the
foot of the magnificent Safor mountain range so
if you prefer the country side to the beach then here it is, there is
an endless amount of virgin hillside to be explored with some of the
most magnificent views of the whole of La Safor to be found from the
peaks. This
vast national park houses the river Serpis
flowing through the valley of mountains and alongside the old
railway line which is now a popular walk for outdoor enthusiasts.
The river is popular with local fisher men as
it never dries up, even in the height of the summer months and
from Villalonga
it continues on its
path to Gandia.
The
apartment is an older accomm yet it is maintained in very good
condition throughout, it would benefit from some modernization as it
is a little dated now, e.g. older cream coloured kitchen units, floor
tiles, woodwork, bathroom wall tiles are a little busy and bright and
do appeal to many people. Being older it boasts much larger
rooms than in more modern buildings, there is plenty of off road
parking available immediately outside the building, and it briefly
comprises of:
Ground
floor: Communal entrance hall.
Third
floor: Entrance hall, large lounge / dining room, double bedroom 1
with communicating balcony, hallway to 2 complete bathrooms, bedrooms
2 & 3, store room, fitted kitchen with larder cupboard and access
to the second dining room / lounge with magnificent wide open views
over the vast orange groves to nearby sea and mountains, large laundry
room. Hallway to huge bedroom 4.
Fourth
floor: Large communal roof terrace with 360º panoramic views of La
Safor.
